Apple targets smart electric car production by 2024

Apple will produce the first smart electric car in 2024. The huge Apple company is known for its excellence in technology all over the world, as it produces the famous iPhones and MacBooks, in addition to the iPod. And now it is on its way to producing the first self-driving smart electric car in 2024.

As part of an internal project called Project Titan, Apple began developing electric vehicles in 2014. As it scaled down operations and staff, it focused on developing self-driving software rather than integrating its electric vehicle plans. At the time, Project Titan was led by Doug Field, a longtime Apple employee who had worked at Tesla.

Since then, Apple has developed the project again, and is now said to be seeking development, supply chain support, and manufacturing.

Apple has turned to the former Tesla software expert, who is owned by the world’s richest man, “Elon Musk,” to produce the first electric car, and it has appointed the former Tesla Autopilot Software Director, who is rumoured to have left the company due to a previous dispute with Musk.

Apple also hired former Tesla chief Stuart Bowles last year to develop its own electric car project. This move confirms that Apple is working to develop the production and development of self-driving technology for electric vehicles, which will strongly compete with Tesla.
