According to the report, the new version will be issued this year and will focus more on women’s football, including the Women’s World Cup. In addition to the two World Cups, the report states that EA is “expanding its licencing partnership across all major leagues to lead and build a single FIFA experience that brings males and females together.”

The report then claims that Fifa 23’s Hypermotion technology has been enhanced tenfold, allowing the development team to record moving images of actual footballers in real matches using stadium cameras without the need of using Xsens suits.
