Every Fast and Furious film is Made To Honor Paul Walker

Vin Diesel said that every Fast and Furious film is made to “honor” Paul Walker. Paul Walker originated the role of Brian O’Conner against Vin Diesel’s Dominic Toretto in 2001’s The Fast And The Furious and starred in practically every successive instalment until his death in 2013.

According to the report published on the “nme” website, Diesel wrote, “There there isn’t a day that goes by that I don’t want to turn back time, talk Pablo (Paul Walker) out of heading back to LA that thanksgiving weekend. Every Fast & Furious film I make must, at the core, always honor my brother Pablo.

Diesel concluded that the Fast & Furious franchise “would never have been here without the profound love and brotherhood between Dom and Brian, established in 2001,” and continued, “Thank you for believing in me, in us. I won’t rest until I make you, him and the universe proud.

He also said that he escorted Meadow, Walker’s daughter, down the aisle “with pride and honour” and that when Walker’s mother asked him to “bring Brian back to the screen, I don’t have to tell you how serious I take it.”

Fast and Furious 10 began filming earlier this week (April 22), with original cast members Vin Diesel, Michelle Rodriguez, Therese Gibson, Ludacris, and Song Kang set to return.
