Anne Heche died at the age of 53, one week after the car accident she was believed to have been driving while under the effect of cocaine in Los Angeles.

Police said that Anne Heche, who was addicted, had a high level of cocaine while driving and suffered serious injuries.

The friends and family of the international actress, Anne Heche, announced that she had officially died on Friday and would be discharged from life support devices.

Anne Heche, who was transferred to Grossman Burn Center at West Hills Hospital, north of Los Angeles, suffered a severe brain injury from a lack of oxygen in the August 5 accident.
