Britney Spears Dad Files Paper Accusing Daughter Of Slander

Hollywood is on the cusp of a new defamation case expected to be more ferocious than that of Johnny Depp and Amber Heard. Britney Spears Dad has filed a lawsuit against her, accusing her of running a smear campaign on social media and intending to question her over allegations that he abused her during his guardianship.

Jamie Spears, the father of Britney Spears, filed legal papers on Friday alleging that his daughter had been relentlessly defaming his name and reputation on social media, stating that she intends to launch more attacks against him in her upcoming memoirs. Jamie Spears’ attorney, said Britney continues to make public social media posts containing false allegations about private family matters.

In the context of the lawsuit, Britney Spears Dad wants to question her in court over her allegations against him that he deprived her of painkillers and forced her to donate a large amount of blood for medical treatment during the guardianship period. The lawsuit also centres around Britney’s allegations that her father abused her guardianship regulations and stole her property and money when he was supposed to manage her finances, and the attorney requests that the defendant be questioned under those charges.

The new accusations come about 7 months after the court ruled to end the guardianship of Britney Spears and remove her father and the court-appointed guardian who controlled her property and decisions for years. Britney has been overly critical of her family, who were not invited to her wedding and instead celebrated with Paris Hilton, Madonna, Selena Gomez, and Donatella Versace.
