Activision has revealed the primary new features of Modern Warfare 2 and disclosed that the franchise has earned $30 billion to date, making it one of the world’s most profitable media properties

Call of Duty: Warzone, launched in 2020, has a fan base of more than 125 million players.

Activision says it has more than 650 million users worldwide for Call of Duty Mobile since its release in 2019.

Activision currently has over 3,000 people working on the series’ different games, and Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 sees several Activision studios involved in the development process, with Team Beenox working on the PC version along with Toys for Bob, High Moon Studios, Raven Software, and more development teams.
