She is preparing to return to the screen again with a new movie in which she cooperates with the streaming platform, Netflix.
Cameron Diaz is preparing to star in the lead role with American actor Jamie Foxx in the action comedy “Back in Action” on Netflix.
It is known that Jamie Foxx was the last to collaborate with Cameron before her retirement in the movie “Annie.” Diaz and Fox have a history of creating magic on screen with each other. The two have previously appeared together in films such as Annie, Any Given Sunday, and Vanilla Sky.
Jamie Foxx announced Cameron Diaz’s return to acting again in a tweet via his Twitter account, where he shared a phone call with Cameron Diaz, in which she said that she would return to work again. Cameron Diaz confirmed the news in a post on her Instagram Story feature, where she shared the call and wrote in the comment: “Jamie Foxx, only you could get me back in action!!!. I can’t frickin wait. It’s gonna be a blast!”
For its part, Netflix did not reveal much about the upcoming movie except that it is an action comedy film directed, produced, and written by Seth Gordon, and explained in a press release that the film’s story will remain confidential and that filming will begin later this year.
