Dave Chappelle claims that he thought Smith was an ideal man for 30 years, but he was not, and that “Smith” tore a mask he had worn for many years. Chappelle said,” Will did the impression of a perfect person for 30 years, and he ripped his mask off and showed us he was as ugly as the rest of us.”

And about his opinion of his ironic joke about the hair of “Jada Pinkett,” which Smith considered bullying, Rock replied that that joke was “the nicest joke I ever told.”

Chappelle added that Will Smith should not return to wearing his masks, whatever the consequences, but rather he should release his true face in public “Whatever the consequences are… I hope he doesn’t put his mask back on again, and lets his real face breathe,”

Will Smith had tried to apologize to comedian Chris Rock, but the latter did not respond to the two apologies made by Will Smith for slapping him at the last Oscars; the first was after the incident through his account on the Instagram application, and the second in a video he posted on YouTube last month.
