Moore, who won an Oscar for best actress in 2014 for “Still Alice,” chaired a six-person jury at the festival, which continues for 11 days in the Italian city.

Filmmakers dominate the jury at this year’s festival, which includes Argentine Mariano Cohen, Italian Leonardo Di Costanzo, Spain’s Rodrigo Soroguin, and France’s Audrey Diwan.
