The new massacre “Texas shooting” claimed the lives of 18 children and three adults in a shooting attack by an 18-year-old boy at an elementary school in Texas.
Texas shooting: 19 children among dead in primary school
The Texas school shooting is America’s second-worst accident of its kind, killing 21 people, including 18 children.
And the teenage shooter was identified as “Salvador Ramos”, who was killed apparently by the police, and it was found that the killer had shot his grandmother in a house near the primary school after an argument between them. But she is “still between life and death.”
From there, the killer left the scene of the shooting and drove towards Robb Primary School in Ovalde, where he opened fire on students and staff.
The Texas senator said Ramos, who lived in North Dakota and moved to Ovaldi, Texas, purchased the two weapons used in the attack on his 18th birthday, which is said to have been on May 16, from an Ovaldi-area dealer.
One gun was found in his wrecked car, while the other, a Daniel Defense brand, was recovered from inside the school. Records also showed that Ramos had bought 375 rounds on May 18, and seven 30-round cartridges were discovered inside the school.
Authorities said Ramos acted alone, and the motive for the shooting remains unknown.
